Therapeutic actions:

Diclac gel contains the active ingredient diclofenac that belongs to a group of medicines called non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAID's). Diclac gel exerts local antirheumatic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory action. Diclofenac works by inhibiting the enzyme called cyclooxygenase(COX) and thus prevents the production of inflammatory mediators called prostoglandins. Prostoglandins causes inflammation and increase the excitability threshold of the pain receptors.

Indications:

Diclac is approved to relieve pain, inflammation and edema in the following conditions:

  • Degenerative diseases of the joints(arthrosis of the knee joints)
  • Rheumtoid diseases of the soft tissue(tendinitis and tendovaginitis, neuropathy of the brachiplex, myositis, arthritis)
  • Traumas of a different origin( tension of ligaments, edemas and concussions)
Contraindications and Cautions:

You should not use Diclac gel in the following conditions:

  • Known hypersensitivity to any of the medication ingredients
  • Children under 6 years of age

Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
