Treatment of urination dysfunctions caused by benign hyperplasia of the prostate gland.

The drug should not be used in the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
• If you are taking other alpha blockers
• If you are having surgery especially eye surgery
• The drug should not be used in children
• Severe Renal insufficiency
• Hypotensive conditions

Not intended to be used in women but if prescribed by your doctor Tamsulosin belongs to Pregnancy category B consult your doctor before starting treatment if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.

There are possible side-effects associated with this medicine that can affect individuals in different ways. If a side effect is stated here, that does not necessarily mean the fact that all people using Tamsol will experience it or any other. The side-effects include:

• Headaches
• Dizziness
• Increased heartrate
• Ortostatic hypotension
• Rhinitis
• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Nausea

• Asthenia
• Priapism
• Angioneurotic shock
