Product Ingridients:
  • Paracetamol(acetaminophen), Phenylephrine, Caffeine, Terpin hydrate, ascorbic acid
Therapeutic actions:

Coldrex HotRem and Coldrex Max grip are the combined medications with antipyretic and analgesic properties.

Paracetamol works by blocking ciclooxygenase and ,thus, eases the pain, lowers the temperature. Ascorbic acid is an antioxidating agent that plays an important role in oxidation-reduction processes, carbohydrate metabolism, clotting of the blood, regeneration of the tissues, formation of hormones, and normalization of the capillary permeability.

Phenylephrin is an sympathomimetic. Phenylephrin narrows the vessels of the nose mucous lining and paranasal sinuses resulting in relief of the nasal breathing and decrease in edema. Coldrex Max Grip contains the increased dosage of paracetamol(1g) thereby increasing the therapeutic effects against cold and flu symptoms.

Coldrex +vit C also contains Caffeine, Terpin hydrate. Caffeine acts as an moderate CNS stimulatory factor. Caffeine exponentiates the analgesic properties of Paracetamol.

Terpin hydrate exerts expectorative action.
