Therapeutic actions:

Antiflu powder contains a combination of active ingredients that exert analgesic, anti-pyretic and anti-inflammatory action. Acetaminophen belongs to a group of medications called non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It works by blocking the production of inflammatory mediators via inhibiting the enzyme called COX2.

Phenylephrine hydrochloride belongs to a group of medications called sympathomimetics. Phenylephrin works by narrowing the blood vessels of the nasal mucous lining and paranasal sinuses. This helps to improve nasal breathing and reduce edema.

Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine preparation that works by inhibiting the release of inflammatory and allergic mediator called histamine.

Ascorbic acid is a vitamin C that participates in many biological processes like synthesis of hormones and neuromediators, metabolism of folic acid, immune function, redox processes, metabolism of amino acids. Ascobic acids helps the organism to fight infection.


Antiflu powder and tablets are used in reliving common flu symptoms like fever, headache and muscular-articular pain, nasal congestion, sneezing, general ill feeling, pain in the throat.

Antiflu kids is indicated to relive common cold symptoms in children.

Antiflu baby is indicated for children of 3 months to 2 years to relieve common cold symptoms such as fever, headache, pain in muscular and joints

Contraindications and Cautions:

Antiflu medicines should not be taken in: Knowm hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the medication active ingredients

  • Severe liver and kidney diseases
  • Thyrotoxicosis
  • Diabetes melitus
  • Hereditary lactose deficiency
  • Cardiovascular diseases(aortic stenosis, acute cardiac infarction, tachyarrhythmia, hypertension)
  • Prostatic hypertrophy
  • Closed-angle glaucoma
  • Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Do not use Antiflu powder or tablets in children under 12 years of age.

Antiflu baby is indicated only for children of 3 months to 2 years
