Tot'hema is a drug which is used to fight anemia. The Iron is needed by our organism to synthesize the heme which is a part of hemoglobin, myoglobin and other metal-proteins in the organism. The drug participates in redox processes. Cuprum and manganese are an important part of enzyme systems which participate in the organisms main redox processes.
The drug is used in treatment of:
- Iron deficiency anemia
- Prophylaxis of iron deficient conditions in people with elevated risks:
- Pregnant women
- Children
- Adolescents
- Old people
The drug should not be used if you have any of these conditions:
- Anemia not caused by Iron deficiency
- Hemochromatosis
- Hemosiderosis
- Acute peptic and duodenal ulcer
- Lead poisoning
- Children younger the 3 years old
- Increased sensitivity to the components of the preparation
Should be used with caution:
- If you suffer from Diabetes due to 3 g of sucrose in the preparation
- If using other iron preparations
